What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy provides an outlet for expressing complex emotions that may be difficult to put into words. The Art Therapist guides the flow of the creative process, welcoming clients to release in productive and interesting ways. 

The imagery and symbols created often reveal unconscious thoughts or patterns, fostering greater self-awareness and personal growth. 

Creating art within the intentional setting of an individual session or group workshop can calm the mind, reduce feelings of overwhelm, increase focus, and increase connection to oneself and others.
