Mavis obtained her Masters Degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Wayne State University. She loves nature walks, music, dancing, art making, writing poetry, and hugs. She has provided mental health services since 2011 and utilizes a trauma-informed existential approach. She started her study of Usui Ryoho and Usui Holy Fire Reiki methods in 2021 and completed her Level III Master training in July 2023. 

At Maeve Healing Arts she offers in-person and virtual Psychotherapy, Reiki, and Expressive Arts Experiences
